Stephen Kings Haven Finds FundingE1 Entertainment has found its funding to make the thirteen-episode TV series “Stephen King’s Haven”. And the King fans go wild!

Variety reports that Universal Networks Intl., the newly rebranded global channels unit of NBC Universal, has signed on to co-finance “Haven.”

Based on the King novella “The Colorado Kid”, the project centers on a spooky town in Maine (what else?) where cursed folk live normal lives cut off from the rest of the world. When those curses start returning, FBI agent Audrey Parker is brought in to keep the supernatural forces at bay — while trying to unravel the mysteries of Haven.

More as it comes.
