Jennifer Jason Leigh Heads to Twin Peaks

The town of “Twin Peaks” has gotten itself a new resident as Deadline is reporting that Jennifer Jason Leigh is the latest big name to join David Lynch’s upcoming new installment of his groundbreaking 1990 mystery series.
Leigh is joining a number of new additions, including Robert Knepper, Balthazar Getty, and Amanda Seyfried. The site goes on to report that Lynch has been trying to get other well-known actors too, including movie star Naomi Watts, who got her break in Lynch’s Mulholland Drive.
Rumored to be coming back are David Patrick Kelly, reprising his role as Jerry Horne. Richard Beymer has also been rumored to be resurrecting his character of Jerry’s brother, Benjamin.
“Twin Peaks” is currently in production with Lynch directing. He is expected to shoot the series continuously as a movie and later cut it into episodes.
