Alien 5 On Hold; Awaiting Prometheus 2

Fans of a proper Xenomorph-filled new Alien film will have to wait a little longer than anticipated as director Neill Blomkamp took to Twitter to tell fans to sit tight because Prometheus 2 must come first. I mean, you can’t have the chicken without the egg, right? Or is it the other way around? We’ve never been good at that game.

Regarding the sequel to Prometheus, Ridley Scott stated in an earlier interview that the film’s title will be Alien: Paradise Lost. Scott is prepping a whopping three (potential) sequels to pseudo-prequel Prometheus, the last of which will tie in directly to the Alien universe.
