Bong to Host the Host

Korea looks to be giving Japan a run for its money now in the horror movie biz. According to Andrew’s review of The Host‘s limited edition DVD package, this is not a film to be missed and it lacks croaking ghosts, long haired children and killer video tapes!
Odds are there are a good amount of people who have yet to see The Host and for those folks we bring you good news thanks to Twitch. For you see The Host‘s director Bong Joon-Ho (read our interview with him here) will be hosting his own mini-film festival at the IFC Center in New York City this month, the 26th and 27th of February to be exact. This is a perfect opportunity to meet the director, see his films and even throw a question at him during the Q&A. All of this for only $11!!!
The Host won’t be the only film shown at the mini-festival. Barking Dogs Never Bite and Memories of Murder will be followed by two of Bong’s short films: Sink and Rise and Incoherence.
