Early Info on Non-Disclosure: Haunted

We recently heard from Sheri Lawrence, one of the members of Fenton Productions, LLC, about a new project she’s involved with entitled Non-Disclosure: Haunted. The film is based on a true story from actual documented events about a divorced man and his son who rent a haunted house.

What sets Non-Disclosure: Haunted apart is that the screenplay by Nanette Fenton is based on evidence accumulated during a thorough two-year investigation of the house in question. The renters, the writer, the film crew, and world renowned paranormal experts experienced and validated the haunting on video and photographs (including written documentation); and the reenactment of these terrifying events will be evident in the film. Finally, a motion picture about a haunting with documented facts to validate the script. This is not your typical Hollywood haunted house film; unfortunately, this particular type of poltergeist activity could surface in anyone’s home … and in any neighborhood, old or new!

Here’s the synopsis: When recently divorced Kyle Stark saw the realtor sign “House for Rent”, he knew it would be a perfect place for him, his twelve-year-old son, his bird, and his dog. But what was not disclosed in the rental contract was that his family would not be the only occupants. At first Kyle thought he was imagining things; yet, in a short period of time he realized that these unexplainable events had taken on an evil and frightening detour, progressing to poltergeist activity, voices, footsteps, slime puddles, putrid odors, physical and sexual assault, illness, and anomalous visual manifestations permeating every room of the house – and him!

Who are they? Where did they come from? How were they able to do these evil things? Kyle’s investigation leads him to three families, former renters of the house who validate his claims, and with the help of paranormal investigators he discovers a portal in an upstairs closet. Kyle’s personal struggle involves fighting for his sanity in dealing with the entities, a maniacal property manager, the Sheriff’s Office (who think he’s a nut case), his paranoid ex-wife, and two women who get involved with Kyle during the ‘alleged’ haunted house investigation that catapult him into unchartered realms and shocking revelations of murder, conspiracy, and the adverse psychological and physical impact of all who dare enter the house. Renter and buyer beware!

The project is currently prepping for filming in Florida. The producers, who include Ms. Lawrence and Ms. Fenton, are still putting their final funding in place, but in the meantime they’ve put together a teaser that contains actual sound bites and film footage captured at the Haunted location. Check it out below, visit the film’s official site, and keep it here for more on Non-Disclosure: Haunted as it comes.
