If you live in the LA area, are 18 or over, and like both dressing up and attending awards shows, this opportunity has your name all over it! The folks running Spike TV’s Scream Awards 2009 are looking for seat fillers and audience members to attend the show in full costume to help them transform the Greek Theatre into a visually stimulating experience full of action, thrills, shocks, and surprises.
Here’s the lowdown:
DRESS TO KILL IN YOUR MOST ELABORATE COSTUMES!
ALL SEATS ARE ON CAMERA. COSTUMES ARE A MUST!!
LOCATION: The Greek Theatre, Griffith Park, 2700 North Vermont, Los Angeles, CA 90027
DATE: Saturday, October 17th, 2009
TIME: Check in at 4:00 pm
REQUIRED DRESS: Dress up like your favorite comic book character, horror/slasher or sci-fi villain (or victim), rock ‘n roll/Goth, etc. Show off your tattoos, spiked/colored hair, piercings, etc. Think Halloween meets rock concert. Those dressed the best will GET THE BEST SEATS!!
HERE IS HOW TO GET YOUR TICKETS: Send an E-MAIL HERE (be sure to keep “2009 SCREAM: Dread Central” in the subject line) and include the following:

Attach ONE outrageous picture of yourself that truly represents YOU, chillin, rockin’ out, or in the outfit/costume you plan to wear to the show. (One picture ONLY in a small file; large files will be deleted as will multiple emails.)
You will get a response within a week or two confirming if you got tickets, at which time parking location info and directions will be provided. Note: This event is being treated as a closed set. DO NOT take tickets if you cannot stay until the very end.
Scream 2009 celebrates the hottest films, TV shows, comics, actors, creators, icons, and pioneers who have influenced and shaped the industry. This year’s show will also continue the tradition of featuring exclusive world premieres from some of the most anticipated movies of 2010. The two-hour extravaganza will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT).
