Along with the previously announced Jon Hamm, Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch has added another good-looking man to its predominantly female cast: Guatemalan actor Oscar Isaac, who most recently appeared in Body of Lies and Che: Part One.
Variety broke the news of Isaac’s signing onto Snyder’s upcoming project for Warner Bros./Legendary, which centers on a girl who’s institutionalized by her stepfather and retreats into an alternative reality. Emily Browning plays the girl; Carla Gugino, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Scott Glenn, and Abbie Cornish are also on board. Zack and Deborah Snyder are producing Sucker Punch through their Cruel & Unusual banner. He’s directing from a script he co-wrote with Steven Shibuya.
Keep it here for more on Sucker Punch as we draw closer to its fall start date in Vancouver.
