More Pulse Planned?

This isn’t confirmed as of yet – it’s what we like to call an “internet rumor” – but it sure wouldn’t surprise me if it all turned out to be fact-based.
Those Aussie freaks at Moviehole, who apparently have a damn good connection to Hollywood despite their distance from it, have learned that Joel Soisson is hard at work on the production of not one, but two sequels to Pulse, the remake of the Kysoshi Kurosawa film that came out last year to nary an excited fanboy.
Soisson is the best choice as he is one of the undisputed kings of needless sequels, having shepherded Hellraiser: Hellseeker, Hellraiser: Hellworld, Dracula III: Legacy, Hollow Man 2 and more sequels direct-to-DVD throughout his career. And since Pulse brought home just enough money to be profitable, it only makes sense that Dimension would spend more money to perpetuate that success.
No word on if Kristen Bell or Ian Somerhalder will be making a return, but something tells me that even they have better things to do…
Hope they at least get Doug Bradley to star in our forums!
