Jon Hamm Signed for Sucker Punch

The cast of Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch just got a whole lot more interesting to this Woman thanks to the addition of “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm. It’s about time a male was announced to join the previously named Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, and Carla Gugino.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the news of Hamm’s signing onto the project, a 1950s-set tale of a girl (Browning) confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. She and her friends enter an alternate reality where they begin planning an escape. Although details for Hamm’s character are being kept under lock and key, the name is known: High Roller.
Hamm’s a very busy guy these days. He’s currently filming Season 3 of “Mad Men”, and in September he’ll hop over to Boston for Ben Affleck’s thriller The Town, after which he’ll head to Vancouver for Sucker Punch.
