The Shriekfest Horror/Sci-Fi Film Festival is always a good time, and now that we know the full lineup, the 2015 event looks to continue that trend. As it turns out, there’s one more reason to make sure you’re there this weekend… Producers Ekatrina Lishava and Adam J. Hart have announced the world premiere of Brandon Scullion’s December conceptual trailer on Saturday, October 3rd.

Written and directed by Brandon Scullion, December is an upcoming feature-length existential yet in-your-face horror film about how darkness always tries to find its way back to the light. The concept trailer was shot in April 2015 in association with Kusnadi Entertainment on a budget of $500 and many favors. December is expected to begin production in early 2016.

The December conceptual trailer will have its world premiere this Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 10:15 PM before the film Interior (about a man alone in a haunted house capturing evidence of the supernatural over the course of one night). More details on the screening, including ticket info, can be found on brownpapertickets.com.

“I’m so happy and excited to finally show everyone my darkest dream yet, especially as part of Shriekfest 2015! Remember, your grief invited it in,” said writer/director Scullion, who is best known for his debut feature film, Live-In Fear, which was just last month given a 9/10 and called an “indie-horror masterpiece” by Starburst Magazine. Live-In Fear is expected to be released on DVD and VOD by Wild Eye Releasing in 2016.

Shriekfest runs October 1-4 at the Raleigh Studios Chaplin Theatres, 5300 Melrose Ave. in Hollywood, CA.

December Synopsis:
Isobelle Chase, a directionless 20-something, and her sister, Emlyn, try to piece their lives back together in the aftermath of an incident that not only put Isobelle in court-ordered AA meetings, but also led to the young mother losing her son. Soon after, a strange and ancient artifact in the form of a mounted stag’s head finds its way into the girls’ lives, bringing with it a torrent of misfortune and darkness.
