New Manga Series Platinum End Coming from Death Note Creators

After the enormous success of Death Note, writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata, who also collaborated together on the comedy series Bakuman, are now working together on a new manga called Platinum End.
Not too much is known about the plot other than that it will be “a story of a human and an angel.” We do have the first piece of art below, and it’s looking great.
Platinum Angel will launch in Japan on November 4. No English translations have yet been confirmed, but expect them to follow shortly along with an anime adaptation.
