Boston Underground Film Festival has Call for Entries

Boston Underground Film FestivalIt’s time to dust off your shorts and shine your features yet again – the Boston Underground Film Festival is opening a call for entries in their 12th annual film festival scheduled to go down in 2010.

The film festival centers around the horrific, absurd and obscure; they are looking for horror, sci-fi, documentaries, features, shorts, animation, experimental, and music videos. If you got ’em, sign ’em up!

There is still plenty of time to act as the festival’s regular deadline is on September 25 and their late deadline arrives two months later on November 27. For additional and up-to-date information on the Boston Underground Film Festival, visit their official webpage!

Good luck to the film entries. Hopefully the event would be a success. One of the movies opening this summer is 500 Days of Summer. 500 Days of Summer is a different take on the romantic comedy, where boy gets girl, loses girl, gets her back, but this is supposed to be a lot more realistic. (Because everyone looks that good in real life – and wears makeup!) The film stars Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. Levitt previously had been on TV shows like Roseanne and most notably 3rd Rock from the Sun, and films such as 10 Things I Hate About You, before taking a break to complete a degree at Columbia University. Regardless if 500 Days of Summer is a smash, he isn’t likely to need a cash advance.

I was wondering…Think ya’ll could cover the Texas Bloodbath Film Festival as well? It’s a small film festival but there’s bound to be some gems in this Independent Film Festival.
