Our own Joe Knetter has been on a roll this year, this time writing and starring in another terrifying tale that has so far attracted one hell of a genre-centric cast. Sit back, dear readers, and get ready to take in the strange goings on at Hallow Pointe.
Madeline’s Closet is a quaint bed and breakfast hidden away from the world on a hidden dirt road in the woods. Henry and Jane are hoping a weekend there will help rekindle their love for each other. Staying there, along with a few other guests, everything seems to be going as planned … until the sun sets and the full moon lights up the sky. Instead of trying to save their marriage, they must now work together to try and save their lives.
Knowing Knetter it’s hard to imagine what kind of sick he has in store for the film’s protagonists. Speaking of which … the cast line-up so far consists of: Leslie Easterbrook (The Devil’s Rejects, Police Academy), Tiffany Shepis (Night of the Demons 2009, Nightmare Man), Cody Matthew Blymire (FrightWorld, Bullet For My Valentine: Waking the Demon), Scarlet Salem (Terror Overload), Joe Bryant (Frat House Massacre), Lar Park Lincoln (Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood, Knotts Landing) and Joe Knetter, who also wrote the film.
Hallow Pointe is being produced and directed by Bobby Ray Akers, Jr. Also producing are Anthony E. Cabral for Ace Films and Mallory Scott for Fly Vision Entertainment.
