Someone pinch us. We have to be dreaming! Wait … we are awake? Badass! Joining the likes of Phantasm II and Night of the Creeps on the movies we never thought would see an official release onto DVD ever — BUT ARE list is the Richard Stanley 1990 sci-fi/horror cult classic Hardware!
Rare horror flick resource Diabolik DVD reports that the film will be hitting DVD on September 29th (date subject to change) courtesy of Severin Films.
Even better … this two-disc set is all region and lookin’ pretty sweet! Here’s a look at what we can expect:
For those of you who have never experienced the goodness that is Hardware — Dylan McDermott (The Practice, Dark Blue) stars as a post-apocalyptic scavenger who brings home a battered cyborg skull for his metal-sculptor girlfriend. But this steel scrap contains the brain of the M.A.R.K. 13, the military’s most ferocious bio-mechanical combat droid. It is cunning, cruel, and knows how to reassemble itself. Tonight, it is reborn…and no flesh shall be spared.
