del Toro on la Radio

Big thanks to our reader “Doro” for pointing this one out; Academy Award nominee Guillermo del Toro (and can I just say how cool it is to type that phrase after all these years?) recently sat down with the folks on NPR’s Fresh Air segment for an incredibly lengthy interview.

Not that it’s hard to get the man to talk for hours at a time, but it’s all about keeping him going with new subjects and this interview pulls that off nicely. NPR’s just good like that. It’s almost an hour long and covers everything from Pan’s Labyrinth (of course) to the Hellboy sequel to monsters and his childhood.

If you want to spend almost an hour entranced by a truly brilliant, passionate filmmaker, click here to give it a listen!
