Dynamite to Raise the Dead

I never thought the day would come that I’d be sick of hearing about zombies, but I’m pretty sure that if it’s not here yet, it’s fast approaching. I mean, really, the world is overrun by the living dead, some survivors try and make the best out of a fucked-up new world order; what more can really be said?
Dynamite Entertainment is hoping to answer that question with their latest series, Raise the Dead, the brainchild of Leah Moor and John Reppion. The tale is set in an America on the brink of being overrun by zombies, pretty standard fare for the sub-genre, but the series creators promise there is a twist within that will give zombie fans a reason to come back to the series month after month. What twist? I guess we’ll just have to pick up the comic to find out.
Sneaky how that works.
As is usual with Dynamite the first issue will have some variant covers; the one you see here is drawn by Marvel Zombies cover creator Sean Phillips and will, oddly enough, be glow in the dark! Look for issue #1 of Raise the Dead in better comic stores this March!
