Details are sparse at the moment, but Deadline is reporting that Phantom Four’s David Goyer and Kevin Turen have teamed up with A24 on a high concept original horror film to be directed by Marc Munden.

To be part of A24’s slate of films with Eva Maria Daniels of VisionChaos Productions, the new movie will be written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, the duo who penned Akiva Goldsman’s Stephanie, currently in post-production from Universal. This new project is currently untitled.

Munden, who among other projects directed on the acclaimed UK Channel 4 television series “Utopia,” is also directing the sci-fi thriller Aether for FilmNation. Meanwhile, Collins and Piotrowski are attached to adapt the supernatural novel Head Full of Ghosts for Focus Features.

Coming up on Phantom Four’s slate are the horror film The Forest, starring Natalie Dormer and due in theaters January 2016; The Breach from Lionsgate, directed by Goyer; and the upcoming adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s seminal comic series The Sandman, directed by Joseph Gordon Levitt.
