Actor Lee Perkins dropped us a line today to let us know that actress and Playboy model Angelina Leigh has joined him in the cast of Slime City Massacre, Greg Lamberson’s sequel to his 1980’s cult hit Slime City, which we first told you about a few weeks ago.
The project begins filming next month, and Leigh will play Honey, a prostitute trying to survive Slime City’s post-apocalyptic environment. Slime City Massacre tells the tale of four squatters trying to survive in New York City after a terrorist attack brings down the financial system. They discover a supply of strange wine in the ruins of a soup kitchen which turns them into hideous slime creatures driven to murderous acts.
Lamberson told Perkins that the lovely Ms. Leigh will be featured “in one of the most memorable death scenes of the film.” Needless to say, Perkins went back and immediately reread the script. Sure enough, her character and his, Mason, hook up. In his words, “Let’s hope clothing is optional — I know blood and slime won’t be!”
