Dead Silence Picks up Hitcher?

Got a quick note this morning from the folks over at Undertaker’s Lounge, a site that’s been out there as long as any of the big boys but rarely gets the attention it deserves, that there might be a good reason to go see The Hitcher this weekend.
According to the site (and yes we are checking on this), the first trailer for James Wan’s Dead Silence, due in theaters March 23rd, will be seen in front of The Hitcher, which rolls into theaters this Friday to most likely underwhelm. Hopefully we’ll have confirmation of this sooner rather than later, as I wouldn’t want you guys going out just to see a trailer if it’s not there.
For those who are hazy, Dead Silence was Wan’s follow-up to Saw and has been completed for a few years now. Unsure of what to do with it, Universal unceremoniously gave it a March release date a few weeks back and are likely hoping we geeks shall spread the news about it through word of mouth. Well, consider it spread!
