Derek Mears to Join the Predators?

We all hate rumors, but damnit this one is too juicy to pass up! Derek Mears, whom you will remember as Jason in the Friday the 13th remake, could be suiting up for the new Predator reboot. If it happens? Talk about perfect casting.
Arrow in the Head caught wind of this possibility recently at the premiere of Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell, but as of now it’s just hearsay.
We can only hope. Derek’s physicality alone would make him the perfect choice. Predators is slated for a July 7, 2010.
