Four Minutes of Terminator Salvation

Wolverine is in theaters now. Star Trek opened at midnight tonight on the East Coast. We’ve got more than a couple of summer blockbuster movies to look forward to… And one of them involves the near extinction of the human race at the hands of robots we created!! DAMN YOUUUU SKYNET!!!!

Official Synopsis:
“The year is 2018. Judgment Day has come and gone, leveling modern civilization. An army of Terminators roams the post-apocalyptic landscape, killing or collecting humans where they hide. But small groups of survivors have organized into a Resistance, striking when they can against an enemy force that vastly outnumbers them. Controlling the Terminators is the artificial intelligence network Skynet, which became self-aware 14 years earlier and turned on its creators, unleashing nuclear annihilation on an unsuspecting world. Only one man saw Judgment Day coming: John Connor. Now the world is on the brink of the future that Connor has been warned about all his life. But something totally new has shaken his belief that humanity stands a chance of winning this war: the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger from the past whose last memory is of being on death row before awakening in this strange, new world. Connor must decide whether Marcus can be trusted. But as Skynet adapts new strategies to end the Resistance forever, Connor and Marcus must find common ground to take a stand against the onslaught–to infiltrate Skynet and meet the enemy head-on.

Ditto..I’d like to see them continue the war. There’s nothing that says we have to continue to follow John all through the war. Any number of writers could cook up an excellent story of love, double cross and revenge amid the Terminator back drop..and i’d be very excited to see it.

I don’t know. I hope it’s good, but I’m already disappointed with the talk that the next one (provided we get it) will be another time travel story. Enough already, keep it in the future.

Maybe I’m just a bit more picky than I used to be, but this really didn’t grab me at all. I love the first two films and part three had its moments but this just looks like a mindless action movie which none of the previous films ever were. Nor were they intended to be.

Well I am just glad they have returned to the darker tones. Part 3 just seemed to Comic Bookish and not in cool way. Really everything looks like Mindless action movies with the over use of special effects in most of todays cinema.

But I want to see its looks like the best the summer has so far. Well that and Transformers 2. Just nothing has been looking that great to me this summer. Jus the same old shit a different summer.
