You know, even we “Horror Chicks” can appreciate beautiful girls too! This is why I realize just how much the hot factor has increased for the upcoming Screen Gems thriller The Roommate.
According to THR, Minka Kelly (“Friday Night Lights” ) has signed on to topline The Roommate alongside Leighton Meester (“Gossip Girl”).
Other casting news includes the additions of Aly Michalka (“Phil of the Future”) and Matt Lanter (the new “90210”), who join previously announced cast member Cam Gigandet (The Unborn).
The Roommate is being described as a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Kelly).
Danish director Christian E. Christiansen will be helming the project.
