Werewolf: The Series Finally Coming to DVD

Get ready to throw away your bootlegs (you know you bought them)! Everyone’s favorite TV Werewolf show from 1987 is FINALLY making its jump to DVD and this is the cause for much rejoicing!
TV Shows on DVD reports tonight that Shout! Factory has picked up the distribution rights for the ill fated series “Werewolf” and hope to be releasing it on September 1st of this year!
It’s still very early in the game so there’s no word on supplemental material at all but just to have clear non-bootlegged versions of all twenty-eight episodes and the two hour pilot? Holy shit! We can’t think of anything today that has made us happier to hear.
For those who don’t know or just don’t remember the show starred John J. York as a lycanthrope on the run from a bounty hunter while trying to cure his curse. Sure that’s basically the same storyline as the old Incredible Hulk series, but that show didn’t have Rick Baker doing effects for a seven-foot tall werewolf damn it! So what if its mouth never closed. It was still badass!
