  1. Quite possibly, one of my favorie movies of all-time. Period. I NEVER get sick of watching it and quoting the film. Just the other day, some guy at work asked me if I was ready to go to a meeting, and I said “Yep, ready when you are Egg..” and he looked at me like I was retarded.

  2. Stripped down, I really love Big Trouble in Little China. However, I’ve always felt the mystical stuff and the kung fu scenes could have been better and more epic. I know Chinese Ghost Story came out a year later but they had way crazier stuff in that than what we got for the American release. I don’t know, I guess they would screw it up now unless Tsui Hark was directing the re-make so maybe I don’t want a see a remake now.

  3. I can maybe see a They Live remake(the movie was great in it’s own way but they could do so much more nowadays) but for the love of cheese, leave Big Trouble alone. It stands up just fine even today.

  4. I really think of all the John Carpenter films from his golden era, this and They Live are the two that could probably benefit from a remake more than Halloween or The Thing.
