Laid to Rest/Lightning Bug Double Feature This Saturday in LA!

LA-area horror fans, you are in for a kickass screening opportunity this weekend! Fangoria is hosting a double-feature presentation of the work of writer/director/ FX maestro Robert Hall. They’re hosting a screening of Hall’s first film Lightning Bug as well as his recent slasher hit Laid to Rest on Saturday, May 9th at the Fine Arts Theater on 8556 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
Yeah, maybe Beverly Hills is a little hoity-toity, but let’s show ‘em how horror fans come out to support the genre we all love!
What’s really cool is that besides getting to check out two really great films is that the screenings will be hopping with appearances by Lena Headey (Laid to Rest, “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” ) and Pinhead’s favorite girl- Ashley Laurence.
Also on hand will be Hall, Bobbi Sue Luther (Laid to Rest, the upcoming Night of the Demons), Kevin Gage and Lucas Till (who both star in Laid to Rest and Lightning Bug), and ChromeSkull himself- Nick Principe.
The best part? Tickets are only $8.00! That’s two movies for cheaper than the price of one so how can you argue with that.
They will also be raffling off a ChromeSkull mask that night too which would definitely make any horror fiend happy to display that bad boy in their place.
Doors open at 9 pm. Laid to Rest starts at 10 pm and Lightning Bug is set to roll at Midnight.
