New Whisper Poster, No Date

Remember the film Whisper? Originally called Hellion, it was announced many months ago by Gold Circle Films, the same production house who made Slither and White Noise, with “Lost” star Josh Holloway in the lead. Ringing any bells? Perhaps some synopsis might help…
Whisper follows a gang of criminals who kidnap the son of a wealthy New England family, hoping to get some easy ransom and live out their days like kings. Unfortunately the boy they kidnapped has a special gift that allows him to see into the mind of those around him and manipulating their actions. What should’ve been an easy job for the criminals turns out to be a nightmare.
There’s still no word on when Whisper is set for release, but a brand new poster for it showed up over on the IMP Awards today, which I guess has to be a good sign, right? Someone in Gold Circle’s art department is working on it, at least. Of course they could do the same thing they did to White Noise: The Light and see it released in the UK first, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled and let you know when we hear more!
