Writer/director Francis Xavier just debuted the official trailer for his supernatural horror flick Less Than a Whisper, a film that should appeal to a very wide audience. Not only will the movie attract folks who enjoyed The Others, The Shining, and Ghost, it also has something to offer people who can’t get enough of director John Boorman’s classic Deliverance. Consider my interest piqued!
Xavier describes his upcoming endeavor as follows.
Less Than a Whisper is unique in its format. The story of one man’s love for his wife, and that love and longing can hold someone to someone else even after their body has long passed.
Robert and Taylor Usher expect to be happy in their new home in Northridge, California where years ago, murder and mutilations destroyed the former residents. It doesn’t matter to the Ushers, until those who caused the deaths come back, those that live in the earth, those that need, those that are not human. The Ushers house stands between them and what they must have. THEY’RE COMING.
