During our tireless search to bring you all the Comic-Con goods that are fit to print, we came across a display for Trick ‘r Treat director Michael Dougherty’s next film, Krampus. We brought you back all the eye candy you could want! Dig it!

If you’re not familiar with just what this creature is… while Santa Claus rewards the nice, Krampus ruthlessly punishes the naughty, and we expect he’ll be doling out a whole lot of hurt in Dougherty’s film.

The horror-comedy tells the story of young Max (Emjay Anthony), who turns his back on Christmas as his dysfunctional family comes together and comically clashes over the holidays. When they accidentally unleash the wrath of Krampus, all hell breaks loose and beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own. Now, the fractured family is forced to unite if they hope to survive.

Adam Scott plays the father, a workaholic and rather absent dad who has to step up for his family. Stefania Owen plays Scott’s daughter. Toni Collette will play the mother, a woman who pretends everything is perfect with her family via her elaborate meals but will also have to dig deep to protect her family. Allison Tolman is on board as Collette’s sister-in-law. David Koechner also stars as another father whose child has gone missing under mysterious circumstances.

Krampus and his mischievous underlings are being created by the combined efforts of Weta Workshop and Weta Digital, both renowned for their epic work on The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies and King Kong, among many others.

Dougherty co-wrote the script with Todd Casey and Zach Shields, and Universal will release the movie on December 4, 2015.
