Bombshell from H2 Set – How Long Will Myers Be Maskless?

Hey Halloween fans! You know that mask you love so very much? Well, you may not be seeing as much of it as you’d like to in Rob Zombie’s upcoming “>Halloween 2.
Nomad just got in touch with what some would say is pretty startling news from the set of Halloween 2 — effects genius Wayne Toth, producer Andy Gould, and even Malek Akkad himself have all confirmed that Michael Myers will spend “a great portion” of the sequel unmasked.
What that means at this point is anyone’s guess. Estimates being thrown around indicate that it may be as much as seventy percent of the film. Before you get your panties in too much of a bunch, we ask that you remember this — technically speaking Myers spent “a great portion” of the remake maskless as well.
Honestly? This intrigues the hell out of me. I’m sure when Myers dons the Shatner-esque number we all love so very much the shit will adequately hit the fan, but the stuff leading up to the moment could prove to be very interesting.
Guess we’ll find out when the movie hits theatres on August 28th. Speaking of which, when asked about the film’s release going up against Final Destination 4, producer Andy Gould said that he wasn’t worried and then assured the visiting press that it’s likely that someone will have to move their release date — and it’s not going to be them.
