With Comic-Con opening its doors on Wednesday evening, we are officially off and running with coverage. Next up to the plate is the official poster premiere for the “Damien” TV series based on The Omen.
From executive producer Glen Mazzara (“The Walking Dead,” “The Shield”), “Damien” follows the adult life of Damien Thorn, the mysterious child from the 1976 motion picture who has grown up seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny: that he is the Antichrist. Starring Bradley James (“Merlin”), Barbara Hershey, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Omid Abtahi. Get an exclusive first look at the show followed by a Q&A with cast and producers, plus a special guest appearance. Thursday, July 9, 2015: 6:45-7:45 pm – Room 6A
“Damien” stars Bradley James as Damien Thorn. Barbara Hershey co-stars as Ann Rutledge, the world’s most powerful woman, who has been tasked with making sure Damien fulfills his destiny. Omid Abtahi portrays Amani Golkar, a close colleague of Damien’s whose fierce loyalty will be tested when he realizes who his brother-in-arms actually is. Meganlyn Echikunwoke plays Simone Baptiste, a woman whose life is thrown into turmoil when tragedy unexpectedly strikes.
The first season of the series, from Glen Mazzara and Fox 21 TV Studios, will include ten episodes. In his TV directing debut, Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) will helm and executive produce the first episode.
“Damien,” slated to premiere in 2016, is written and executive produced by Mazzara via his 44 Strong Productions.

- One-Eye I remember it as being one of the better post SCREAM slasher movies. I certainly haven't watched it since then.
- One-Eye I kind of dig how Osment is just like "Yeah, I'm fat and have a big, bushy beard. And that's how I'm gonna stay now..."
