See a Greeting from the Set of Fear the Walking Dead

The cast and crew of AMC’s upcoming “Fear the Walking Dead” took a few moments out of their busy filming schedule to record a new “greeting from the set” video to  welcome fans to LA and share what they’re looking forward to in the episodes to come.  Check it out, and expect LOTS more info about the show over the coming days during San Diego Comic-Con.

Friday, July 10, 2015 – 12:00 noon – AMC’s The Walking Dead – Hall H
Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, and Lennie James join executive producer and showrunner Scott M. Gimple, executive producer Robert Kirkman, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer Dave Alpert, and special effects makeup supervisor and executive producer Greg Nicotero in a panel moderated by Chris Hardwick (The Nerdist, Talking Dead). The panelists will discuss the shocking finale of Season 5 and what to look forward to in Season 6, debuting this fall on AMC. The “Fear the Walking Dead” cast includes Cliff Curtis, Colman Domingo, Ruben Blades, Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam Carey, Mercedes Mason, Shawn Hatosy, and Frank Dillane.  The series is set in Los Angeles and focuses on new characters and storylines.

The show’s first season will consist of six one-hour episodes. The second season will air in 2016.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Alpert from “The Walking Dead” are executive producers of the new series, which, like the original, is being produced by AMC Studios. Dave Erickson (“Marco Polo,” “Sons of Anarchy”), who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, is an executive producer and showrunner.

Synopsis:
“Fear the Walking Dead” takes us back to the beginning of the zombie apocalypse – a time when the world was changing rapidly for reasons unknown, before anyone understood exactly what was happening, when life as everyone knew it was upended and altered in ways no one could have ever imagined.
