Emily Browning Signs On To Sucker Punch

I was one of the many who were disappointed when “Big Love”‘s Amanda Seyfried had to withdraw from Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch. But her replacement was announced today, and I must say things are indeed looking up for the project once again.
According to EW Emily Browning (best known as Violet in A Series of Unfortunate Events and most recently seen in The Uninvited) will be taking over the lead role of Baby Doll, a young woman who has been committed to an insane asylum and fantasizes about escaping with the help of her fellow inmates.
Also per EW, Evan Rachel Wood, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, and Emma Stone are all still in talks to costar in the hyper-violent estrogen fest.
