Acort International Acquires Silent Retreat; Poster, Trailer and Exclusive Stills

It’s Friday, and here at Dread we felt what better way to celebrate the coming weekend than to deliver to you some blood, bikinis, and bear traps because that’s just our style. Read on for the trailer and exclusive stills from director Ace Jordan’s upcoming feature Silent Retreat.
Co-written and directed by Jordan, the psychological thriller Silent Retreat revolves around (according to the press release), ”six members of a media company who go on a weekend business retreat at an isolated lakeside lodge in the woods. When one of the members goes missing, they discover the lodge was formerly a private mental institution that had been shut down after allegations of unethical behavior.”
Shot on location in Big Bear Lake, California, the film stars Donny Boaz (My All American), Rebecca Summers (The Spell), Danijo Di Julio (Argo), Devon Ogden (The Founder), and Trista Robinson (The Human Race) and is produced by industry veteran Rick Tucker, Michael Muscal (Bride of Chucky), and Robbin Ormond. It is executive produced by Ace Jordan and Luis Tejada.
