Exclusive: Herschell Gordon Lewis Rolls on Grim Fairy Tale

It’s always nice to start off the week with some very good news, and that’s just what we have for you this morning. Today is the day that the legendary Godfather of Gore, Herschell Gordon Lewis, steps behind the camera once again on his latest film, Grim Fairy Tale.
We got the official word from producers Andrew Allan and Andy Lalino of Film Ranch this morning!
“On Monday, March 23rd. we kick off production on Herschell Gordon Lewis’ extra-gory new feature film, GRIM FAIRY TALE.” says Allan. “Yes, this is actually happening and Film Ranch is producing. Herschell is directing his own original script, and the film will star Brooke McCarter (LOST BOYS), Krista Grotte (BRAINJACKED, DEATH ON DEMAND), and JOEL WYNKOOP (BODY IN A DUMPSTER), plus some choice cameos from genre faves. It’s going to be perfectly deranged. Just like you’d expect from the Godfather of Gore.”
In this ever increasing world of really stale horror, only three words come to mind … BRING IT ON!
In other Film Ranch news, their feature film “>BrainJacked is nearly complete and looking awesome. It’ll make its world premiere in May down in the Tampa Bay area, then hit the road for screenings. Dates and locations are still to be determined, but the gang anticipate putting together a show similar to the Horror & Hotties Festival I hosted with BrainJacked as the centerpiece. Expect the movie to arrive just in time to have an unforgettable, head-drilling summer!
