Those who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Bloody Bible Camp director Vito Trabucco’s second feature can now breathe a sigh of relief. The filmmaker’s next cinematic endeavor, Never Open the Door, is presently scheduled to premiere at the Super Geek Film Festival in Florida later this month. The aforementioned festival is part of the Florida Supercon, which takes place at the Miami Beach Convention Center between June 25 and June 28. There’s still time to plan a trip.

According to the official press release, Never Open the Door is “an homage to John Brahm’s work, who directed episodes of the original ‘Twilight Zone,’ ‘Outer Limits,’ and ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’ series.” If you’re looking for more info about the story, take a look at the following synopsis.

Three happy couples enjoy Thanksgiving in a cozy secluded cabin in the woods when they are suddenly interrupted by an unprecedented event that will forever change their lives. A stranger comes at the door; he is severely wounded, and when they let him in, he throws up blood into Tess’ mouth. He then collapses on the floor and, while specifically pointing at one of the friends, screams his last words before he dies: “Never open the door!” The group of dumbfounded friends start to panic. Tess inexplicably disappears. A killer is on the loose.

Never Open the Door screens on Thursday, June 25, at 8:30 pm at the Super Geek Film Festival. If you miss that screening, then you can catch an encore on Friday, June 26, at 10:30 pm. In the meantime have a look at the trailer, poster, and promo images below.
