Given the boom in Sasquatchploitation flicks over the past few years and the current resurgence of 3D filmmaking, it was only a matter of time before we got to experience Bigfoot’s bloody rage in three dimensions.
All-purpose tipster Avery sent word of what I believe to be the first ever 3D Bigfoot flick, The Bloody Rage of Bigfoot, the low budget creation of indie filmmaker James Baack. Actual details are sketchy, but what little info there is comes from Baack’s own website:
“James Baack as the monster, Louis Diaz and Michael Nardi as “The Pimps”, Ingrid Gregerson as “The Stripper”, and Steve Galayda as “The Gunshot Victim”
Bigfoot’s killing pimps and strippers? I always knew deep down that Bigfoot was a cultural conservative; though his pro-environment stance would seemingly fly in the face of his right-wing leanings.
Head over to Baack’s website for what other few behind-the-scenes details there are, including a few stills from the film shoot. No clue as of now when we can expect to see The Bloody Rage of Bigfoot, the poster says May ’08 so that has to be wrong, (and I even find myself questioning whether or not the movie really will be in 3D given just how low budget this looks), so stay tuned for further details.
