Etheria Film Night (formerly Viscera Festival) took place at the historical Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, CA., on Saturday, June 14, 2015. On hand were its tireless team members Heidi Honeycutt (founder), Stacy Hammon and Kayley Viteo. There were also several stars in attendance, female filmmakers, and lovers of cinema from all over the world.

First up was the feature presentation, an Australian slow burn thriller with a supernatural twist.

We were also treated to a sneak peek at Axelle Carolyn’s Tales of Halloween segment.

After that, there was a wonderful reception in the decorative courtyard of the Egyptian Theater and the red carpet strut which showcased the lovely ladies being honored – Jane Espenson, the Etheria Inspiration Award recipient, was especially fun. The writer-producer is best known for her work on TV shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica, and Once Upon a Time.

Once appetites were satisfied and schmooze time maximized, it was time for us to head into the theater to watch the short films.
