#SDCC15: Entertainment Earth Reveals Three More Penny Dreadful Exclusives

Published

on

They already announced three “Penny Dreadful” exclusives for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and now Entertainment Earth has revealed three additional figures in the line.  Read on for the full details of Sir Malcolm Murray, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and The Creature.

From the Press Release:
Bring home the dark and mysterious world of the demimonde with these “Penny Dreadful” action figures made by Bif Bang Pow! exclusively for Entertainment Earth as convention exclusives. Each action figure is individually packaged, has 18 points of articulation, and stands 6 inches tall.

With 2,800 of the Malcolm and Frankenstein figures and only 2,400 pieces of The Creature produced, these limited edition and individually numbered figures won’t be available forever.  Click here for more info and pre-order links. All items will first be sold at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 at the Entertainment Earth Booth #2343. If supplies remain after the show, your order will be filled and shipped to you then, at the end of July 2015.

Sir Malcolm Murray knows a valuable collectible when he sees one. Now fans the world over can collect the collector himself. This intricately detailed figure features the debonair explorer in a dapper black tailcoat suit made of soft and bendable PVC plastic. The rest of Sir Malcolm’s ensemble is completed by his white collared shirt, black tie, and vest. Malcolm comes with his signature cane with sitting lion, removable hat, and hand gun as accessories.

As far as doctors are concerned, Victor Frankenstein probably wouldn’t be your first choice. This addition to your “Penny Dreadful” action figure collection, however, is just what the doctor ordered. The finely detailed figure features the “not so mad-scientist” wearing slacks and a long sleeve blue shirt which is visible through his black sleeveless vest. The young doctor comes with his infamous sketchbook and surgical scissors as accessories.

Last but not least is The Creature. Own the doctor’s first born with this detailed figure featuring The Creature in an all black Victorian style trench coat with a high neck wrap to help hide the not-so-pleasant surgery of his father. The coat itself is made up of a soft and bendable PVC plastic.

NECA Announces Ashy Slashy Puppet Replica

Published

on

One of our favorite horror TV shows is Starz’s “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” and one of our favorite moments from the first two seasons is when Ash brings out his “Ashy Slashy” puppet.

If you’re like us and have been wondering when you could get your hands on an Ashy Slashy puppet of your own, today we have good news.

NECA has just announced its prop replica!

You can check out pics of the packaging reveal NECA did over on Facebook below, and then let us know if you’re going to be buying your very own Ash Slashy puppet.

We’ll let you know when the item becomes available for pre-order!

Rundown via NECA:
Every day can be demented play day with your very own Ashy Slashy puppet from Season 2 of Ash vs. Evil Dead! We’ve replicated Ash’s potty-mouthed little doppelganger from the asylum episodes for your (hopefully G-rated) entertainment.

This is a working puppet – insert your hand, and you can move the mouth; plus the arms are poseable thanks to inner articulation.

Ashy Slashy is approximately 15” tall.

Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph Getting Their Own 8-Bit Pop Vinyls

Published

on

Funko has released some delightful horror-themed products over the years, but this just takes the cake. They’ve announced a new line of 8-bit Pop Vinyl figures, which will feature pixelated versions of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph. I never thought I’d say it, but even Freddy Krueger looks cute.

Freddy and Jason will both come in standard editions, in addition to GameStop exclusives based on how they both appeared in their own NES video games. The Xenomorph will also have a Previews exclusive edition depicting it smeared with acid blood. Have a look at the images below to decide which versions you like best. Most of us would probably like to purchase all six!

These adorable (but still horrible) figures will be available in January, so make sure you don’t go bankrupt over Christmas.
