Philly Fest’s 2009 Danger After Dark Lineup

Danger After Dark Lineup Announced The Philadelphia Film Festival/CineFest 09 is offering up lots of genre film goodies for horror fans this spring during its Danger After Dark series.

The fest will run March 26-April 6, 2009, and the features that make up the Danger After Dark series include:

I Sell the Dead
Able
Art of the Devil 3

4BIA (review here)
Hanger
Left Bank
Not Quite Hollywood
Plague Town
Straight for the Kill
short film series, which includes “Treevenge”, “The Horribly Slow Murderer With the Extremely Inefficient Weapon”, and double feature of “20th Century Boys/20th Century Boys 2”.

Other films that aren’t part of the Danger after Dark series but may still be of interest to horror enthusiasts include:

  • Before the Fall, an entry from Spain that merges apocalyptic scenarios and serial killer themes.
  • God’s Forgotten Town, another cinematic offering from Spain about a group of filmmakers who realize they may have gotten more than they bargained for in the “ideal” location.
  • Surveillance, a horrifying look at a multiple homicide from the points of view of multiple witnesses.
