“Spartacus” star Erin Cummings hit Twitter today and revealed that she and Ethan Embry have joined the cast of Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s werewolf thriller Late Phases for Dark Sky Films/MPI and Glass Eye Pix, which is now shooting in New York. Nick Damici and Tina Louise co-star.

Cummings (pictured) and Embry play a married couple in the flick. Thanks to Shock Till You Drop for making the early catch. Expect a full press release soon.

Late Phases marks the first English-language project for director Bogliano (Cold Sweat, Penumbra, Here Comes the Devil).

Synopsis:
LATE PHASES tells the story of Ambrose McKinley (Damici), who moves into a community where the residents have been dying in increasing numbers – oddly, all have supposedly been the victims of dog attacks. But after barely surviving his own attack on his first night there, Ambrose discovers that the assailants are much more than canines.
