Uwe Boll Fails to Crowdfund Rampage 3: No Mercy; Watch His Viral Meltdown!

I don’t think it’s any secret by now that Uwe Boll is both a terrible filmmaker as well as a terribly interesting human being, and in fact it’s his internet tirades that have been far more entertaining over the years than his actual movies. His latest one is, in so many words, magical.
Earlier this year the German filmmaker tried to raise $100,000 on Indiegogo to make Rampage 3: No Mercy, the second sequel to his 2009 film that starred Brendan Fletcher as a madman on a killing spree. The campaign raised a measly $6,000, but Boll was determined to press on.
And so this time around Boll took to Kickstarter in an attempt to raise the funds, launching a second campaign just about a month ago. He had a whole lot more success on Kickstarter, raising nearly $30,000 of his new $55,794 goal. But with the campaign ending this week, it looks to be another failure.
Naturally, Uwe Boll responded to his series of crowdfunding fails not by wondering what he did wrong, but rather by attacking pretty much all of humanity. In a YouTube video appropriately titled “fuck you all,” Boll had a complete and total meltdown for all to see, lashing out at anyone and everyone.
“Basically my message is fuck yourself because that is so fucking absurd – retarded amateur idiots collecting money on that absurd website,” said Boll. “For me crowdfunding is absolutely dead. Goodbye. And it looks like nobody gives a shit about Rampage 3 so maybe I shouldn’t do it then. I have enough money to play golf until I’m dead.”
