As we told you last week, Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles Season 1 kicked off today with Episode 1, “Twisted,” courtesy of Machinima, Blue Ribbon Content, and DC Entertainment.  Curious about this new series from animation icon Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series)? Then read on because we have “Twisted” right here for you in its entirety along with sneak peeks of Wonder Woman and Superman.

Set in an alternate universe where Batman is actually Kirk Langstrom, the dark knight pursues a new, more unhinged Harley Quinn.

The digital series is based on Justice League: Gods and Monsters, an original animated film executive produced by Timm, co-produced by Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series), and directed by Sam Liu that will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on July 28th.

Look for Episode 2 on Wednesday, June 10th, and the third and final episode of the first season on Friday, June 12th. Machinima has already announced a second season, which will come out in 2016.

About Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles:
From visionary producer and animator Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series), Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles turns the DC Universe upside-down. In this dark, alternate world, telling the good guys from the bad guys is never easy: Superman is not the son of Jor-El; he’s the son of General Zod. Wonder Woman is not from peaceful Themyscira, but rather the warring nation of Ares; and Batman is more vampire-bat than man… and he’s not Bruce Wayne.

It is unclear if our greatest heroes are here to protect us… or to rule us.
