There’s always something going on behind the scenes here at Dread Central because we’re always looking at cool ways to give more to our readers. That’s cause we love you. Rarely do the results of our efforts end up in the pages of The Hollywood Reporter, though!
So imagine our surprise when yesterday’s THR had an announcement we’ve been waiting to make to you guys for a few weeks now: We’ve teamed up with the folks behind Home Media Magazine, a leader in the home entertainment industry, to bring you guys the first-ever horror DVD awards show, The Reaper Awards!
The actual awards ceremony itself will take place at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood on October 13th, 2009 (sadly, not a Friday, but cool nonetheless) and will feature all sorts of horror celebs and industry types, all hosted by myself & Uncle Creepy! Oh, it shall be, in a word, epic.
There’s going to be a huge push for this in the coming months, so you can bet your asses you’ll be hearing more about it soon!
