Vincenzo Natali Reveals Unused Predator and Pennywise Concept Art

Director Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice) just joined Twitter last week, and he’s already done more with the platform than most filmmakers who have been on there for years. Natali has been sharing all sorts of unused materials from projects that never came to be, and we’ve been LOVING it.

Throughout the course of this past week, Natali has tweeted out concept art from potential reboots of both Predator and Stephen King’s It that he recently pitched to Hollywood, which of course didn’t end up being used. Both films are currently in the works, though Natali isn’t in any way attached.

First up is the Predator artwork, which you can check out below. The top image you’ll see is artist Amro Attia’s concept art for Natali’s pitch, and underneath that is a painting he commissioned Dan Milligan to create. Below those are several storyboards whipped up by Natali.

As for the feature film adaptation of Stephen King’s It that Natali hoped to bring to life, the four images below show concept art created by both himself and Amro Attia. As he joked on Twitter, the good art is credited to Attia, while the bad is his own handiwork.
