Blumhouse Tilts 2 More for Universal

File this one under speculation, kids. Deadline is reporting that Blumhouse Productions has scheduled two untitled features on Universal’s 2017 schedule. The genre microbudget label will be opening one film on January 27, 2017, and a second on October 20, 2017.
So what could they be? A new property? A new sequel? A prequel? No way to know for sure, but hey, it’s fine to speculate! If it’s gonna be original, I’d like to pitch my idea for Egregious, a found footage film about an inept ghost that sucks at haunting who learns from the long missing in action black and red Insidious demon the proper way to keep a couple awake at night during the yearly Purge.
Genius, right?
