Mister Hollow Nominated for a Genie!

Rodrigo Gudino, former Editor in Chief of Rue Morgue magazine, just sent out word that his latest short film, “>”The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow” (review), has been nominated for a Genie Award, Canada’s answer to the Academy Awards.
Of course it’s been nominated in the category of Best Animated Short and I will very surprised if it doesn’t win. I got a chance to see it at last year’s Fantasia and it blew me away, which is pretty much the reaction it’s been getting everywhere it plays.
The 29th Annual Genie Awards will take place on Saturday, April 4th at the Canada Aviation Museum in Ottawa, ON. “Mister Hollow” will next be seen at the Boston Underground Film Festival, then at the Ashland Independent Film Festival so if you’re near either one, make plans to get your eyeballs in front of it.
