Cary Elwes is trying his hand at horror again, though hopefully this time the fans will be more forgiving for his performance (as opposed to in Saw, which I still don’t see the issue with) for the new feature, Psych 9.
Produced and directed by Andrew Shortell, Psych 9 tells of an unstable woman who takes a job organizing patient records at a recently closed hospital. Though it sound like the perfect gig, no one’s around to bother you and you set your own pace, she soon starts to have some disturbing experiences that may be connected to a string of serial killings.
Elwes will star, though his specific role was not mentioned in Variety. The film is the first product of Green Card Pictures, a newly formed production company with intentions to make films both here and abroad. Shooting is set to take place in Prague early next year.
