Silent Hill 2 Still a Reality?

We’ll have to consider this pure conjecture right now, but the Canucks over at HorrorMovies.ca got word from a reliable scooper that Silent Hill 2 is still in the planning stages and looking to shoot in Toronto.
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything regarding a sequel to Christophe Gans’ fan-splitting original adaptation, but the popularity of the games hasn’t diminished since the film so one would think it’s a no-brainer.
The last we heard Gans wouldn’t be back if a sequel did happen, but that was a long time ago and things in Hollywood are always changing, so who knows? Until we get further confirmation that the sequel is actually happening, we shall remain cautiously optimistic.
