Sky Sharks Releases a Promo Trailer, But the Movie Needs Your Help

It’s definitely a good time for B-movie fans. With the help of Sharknado, these admittedly silly low-budget endeavors are en vogue, at least for the moment. One of the many over-the-top motion pictures currently in development is Sky Sharks, a movie that finds Nazis riding — you guessed it — sharks. If ever there was a movie made with me in mind, it’s this one.

Unfortunately, Sky Sharks isn’t a sure thing just yet. In order for the film to satisfy our desire to see undead, bloodthirsty Nazis riding sharks, the producers need your help. According to Twitch, the flick needs to collect 75,000 euros before we get a finished product. If you love B-movies and have some extra cash lying around, consider throwing some scratch at the Kickstarter campaign.

Take a gander at the full synopsis for Sky Sharks:

Deep in the ice of the Antarctic, a team of geologists uncover an old Nazi laboratory, still intact, where dark experiments had occurred. Unwittingly the geologists unleash upon the world a top-secret experiment the Germans had been working on – modified sharks that are able to fly, whose riders are genetically mutated, undead super-humans. The only thing that can stop them, and possibly save the world, is a military task force called “Dead Flesh Four” – assembled from reanimated U.S. soldiers who fell in Vietnam.

Before you dismiss Sky Sharks as a Sharknado wannabe, take a look at the proof of concept trailer. Not only does it contain Nazis riding giant sharks (obviously), the clip also features Robert LaSardo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and a surprising amount of gore. It’s definitely a lot of fun.
