Saw Sequel in 3D?

Saw coming atcha in 3D?I guess if they want the Saw series to go out with some style, they should be thinking of gimmicks to make sure people actually go see it. Yeah, I know Saw V did over $100 million; it still sucked.

STYD heard word at last night’s LA screening of Repo! that Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate may be looking to produce a sequel in 3D. The scariest element to this idea? It may not be Saw VI, but yet another entry in the series. Egad.

Hopefully they can make it work for Saw VI and end the franchise on something of a high note. Making a seventh movie just so they could do it in 3D would be more than a little bit sad, if you ask me.

I didn’t think SAW V sucked at all. To me the franchise is only getting more and more suspensful and I LOVE the psychological puzzle that each one holds. To each their own though, I suppose.

    Saw VII: Mandylor’s Big Score?

Now we can beat a dead horse in 3D

Oh good. Grimy warehouses, but in 3-D. If only I could buy my ticket now.

They can make 20 of these movies as far as I’m concerned. I’m not going to watch them (probably – maybe a friend will ask me to watch one or something), and they don’t affect me anyway. If we can have 12 “Friday the 13th” movies (if you count the new one), I don’t see why they can’t keep milking this franchise.

    And in 3D!

“Saw VII” should be a remake of all the best bits from the Saw franchise, using midgit actors…

… It would be a very short film!
